In-State DE Trace Ford Announces OSU Among Final Eight Schools
Edmond Santa Fe defensive end Trace Ford cut his options in half over the weekend and named Oklahoma State among his final eight schools.
Arkansas, Cal, Arizona State, Baylor, Florida State, Harvard and Oregon also made the cut.
I am very humbled and blessed to be in a situation such as this. I appreciate every single coach that believed in my playing ability at the next level. After careful thought and consideration, these are the schools I want to focus my recruitment and future on. No specific order. pic.twitter.com/RA516s1Yjs

Ford is a 6-2.5, 218-pound three-star Class of 2019 prospect who is one of many pass-rushing targets for OSU in the cycle. With commitments already from Isreal-Isuman Hundley and Kody Walterscheid, Ford could be a third pledge at the DE position to help fill what has been a major focus for the coaching staff.
Another in-state target for OSU at DE is Collin Clay, who also has the Cowboys included in his final options. Woodrow Wilson standout Z’Core Brooks and Lufkin product Javasia Brunson are two other targets to watch for the Pokes too as they look to close out the position down the stretch this summer.
