Early Season Highlights Prove QB Pledge Brendan Costello Can Do it All
Some tasty highlights to whet your appetite for a future Cowboy QB.
Most quarterback prospects as seniors can either throw the ball really well but lack in awareness. Or maybe they run it well but throw ducks. Brendan Costello isn’t one of those.
The 2019 Oklahoma State QB pledge has shown he can do a little of everything through three weeks of his senior season. Throwing deep balls, extending the play, scoring with his legs — you name it.
How about an accurate deep ball? Scroll over to the 5-second mark — or to the 36-second mark — to watch him deliver a dime in his highlights below. Or, if you’re into this sort of thing, fast forward to the 24-second mark to catch him strolling into the end zone with his legs.
And if you really want to buy in, look no further than the 54-second mark where he goes full Johnny Football and turns a broken play into a score.
Through three weeks of his senior season, Costello has amassed an impressive 639 yards passing, 176 yards rushing, and nine total touchdowns for San Clemente.
