OSU Offers Class of 2020 LB Following Weekend Unofficial Visit
The Cowboys offered a three-star 2020 LB during his visit this weekend.
Oklahoma State extended a scholarship offer on Sunday to Class of 2020 linebacker prospect Josh White, a Houston-area standout from Cy Creek.
White is a three-star recruit listed as an outside linebacker who already has offers from Alabama, Houston, Iowa State, Duke, Baylor and Nebraska, among others. 247Sports lists him as a 6-foot-1, 200-pound prospect.
Per 247Sports’ offer tracker, White, who visited OSU for the game this weekend, is the first linebacker target for OSU in the 2020 class to pick up a Cowboy offer. It’s unlikely he’ll be the last.
Linebacker is a priority in the 2019 class and Na’Drian Dizadare’s signing will be a big one this cycle, but 2020 is shaping up to be a particularly heavy LB class with White now at the forefront of that imminent effort to replenish talent at the position.
Oklahoma State already holds three commitments in the 2020 class from Eli Russ, Jabbar Muhammad and Grant Mahon, and its class currently ranks 17th nationally and second in the Big 12.
