Class of 2020 Cornerback Korie Black Commits to Oklahoma State
OSU’s 2020 class is up to 13 and still growing.
Oklahoma State’s 2020 recruiting class is up to 13 after a Saturday night pledge from Waco, Texas cornerback product Korie Black.
Black, a 6-foot-1, 165-pound three-star recruit chose the Pokes in a commitment video over Baylor, Boise, Colorado, K-State, Missouri, Nebraska, Purdue, Texas Tech and others. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 37 cornerback in the 2020 class and No. 502 overall in the class regardless of position.

Black gives OSU its second cornerback commitment in a span of a week, joining Bixby product Jordan Reagan who committed on the June 18, and the third corner of the class along with DeSoto star Jabbar Muhammad.
Getting Black was always a possibility — and believed as a likelihood after OSU offered in the summer of 2017. When OSU pulled a verbal pledge out of his Connally teammate, offensive lineman Trent Pullen, earlier this spring the odds jumped significantly.
Black is just the fourth Texas product to commit in the 2020 class thus far. With A.J. Green, Kemah Siverand and Bryce Balous set to burn up their final year of eligibility in 2020, OSU getting Black could mark the end of pursuits at corner in the cycle.
