OSU Offers Ball-Hawking Junior College Defensive Back Ronald Williams
Williams has three picks in his last two games.
Jim Knowles is after another defensive back.
Hutchinson Community College (Kansas) corner Ronald Williams tweeted out that he had an Oklahoma State offer Friday. Williams is a sophomore at Hutch. OSU was his first Power Five offer, but he also boasts offers from Houston, UMass, Akron, Western Kentucky and New Mexico State.

In his past two games, Williams has three interceptions. Hutch has played only three games this season. As a freshman, Williams had one interception and three pass breakups for the Blue Dragons.
Williams brings size to the position at 6-foot-2, 188 pounds. That would make him one of the taller corners on OSU’s roster. On Williams’ Hudl profile, he also lists he can play free safety.
Three of the Cowboys’ 14 commits in the 2020 class are corners: Korie Black, Jabbar Muhammad and Jordan Reagan. Those three would enter as true freshmen, though. The Pokes will lose A.J. Green, Kemah Siverand and Bryce Balous to graduation after this season.
On Aug. 31, Williams had two interceptions against Independence Community College, of Last Chance U fame. In that game, he had the two picks, 30 INT return yards, four solo tackles and a pass breakup in his team’s 31-21 victory.
Hutchinson is the top-ranked junior college in the country. Last year, Mike Gundy and Co. got running back Dezmon Jackson from the program. Williams will have a chance to keep his interception streak going when the Blue Dragons play Fort Scott on Saturday.
