Official: Mike Gundy Says Israel Antwine, Brendon Evers Expected to Play vs. Texas
Huge injury and eligibility news for OSU.
Oklahoma State’s thin defensive line a week ago could be a strength on Saturday as the Cowboys head to Austin to face No. 12 Texas.
As previously reported Friday and officially confirmed Saturday by coach Mike Gundy, OSU will not only welcome Israel Antwine into the fold for the first time this season, but also expects to get back defensive tackle Brendon Evers. Evers missed last week with a nagging injury, while Antwine hasn’t played this season due to administrative issues with his transfer from Colorado.
In pregame radio show, Gundy expects Brendon Evers to play. With addition of Israel Antwine, that's a big boost for the #OKState DL

This is huge news any way you slice it. OSU gave up 158 yards rushing a week ago with a depleted front line, so their addition to the game plan Saturday against a Texas team that is short-handed — at running back, receiver and safety — should only increase OSU’s odds of pulling off an upset in Austin.
