โข Great piece here outlining who should win the Big 12 this year – spoiler: Pokes are the first team listed. I still can’t get over stuff like this being said about Oklahoma State:
Why they can make a run: Oddly enough, the defense is salty as hell. Oklahoma State ranks first in the Big 12 in scoring defense, yards per rush allowed, sacks and red zone touchdown percentage. Its third-down conversion percentage is the best in the nation.

They also point out that the defining stretch will be the last four games – with road games at K-State, OU, and TCU with a home game against the Red Raiders in there…. Wooo buddy.

โข It’s fun to think about the Pokes being in the Big 12 championship game. Who’s most likely to face the Pokes (should they get there) at Jerry World?
I will stick with the Cowboys as one of my teams to make it.
As for the other team, I would go with Iowa State as of right this very second. They have played the toughest Big 12 schedule so far beating TCU and Oklahoma and their toughest games left will be against Oklahoma State, Texas, and Kansas State. I could easily see them going 2-1 against those three teams to finish off with an 8-1 Big 12 record.
