OSU Bullets
• Pokes drop a tough one on the road in Lawrence – where they were strangely the ranked team playing an unranked team after being gutted by Kansas’ big
• The Pokes climbed for the second straight week in the Coaches Poll, arrived in the AP for the first time since… Obama
• The key to the Texas game was the Pokes turning their previous misfortunes (long dry-spells in the second half) on their opponent:
Texas didn’t make a basket the final 12 minutes of the game. The ‘Horns shot just 25.3 percent (20 of 79) and made only five of 35 3-point shots. UT committed 21 turnovers itself.
[NewsOK]
• Cade Cunningham selected Newcomer of the Week (again)
• Big 12 Tournament is still scheduled to be played March 10th to 13th
• Cowboy Baseball opens their next season against Josh Holliday’s old team: Vanderbilt.
Non-OSU Bullets
• Buc-ee’s is running into problems as they try to expand
• Breaking down the Super Bowl commercials
• Benefits of a broken heart (faith-based)
This was the most entertaining part of the Super Bowl – watching Mahomes doing Ryan Fitzpatrick stuff under pressure:
