Three Thoughts

• OSU grabbed it’s first tournament win since 2009

• Can’t give Mike Holder enough credit for what he saw in Mike Boynton. Reportedly Holder told Boynton he had been interviewing for a year and Holder liked what he saw.

“Personal qualities of character, loving your players, loving people, honesty, integrity, work ethic,” Holder said. “All those things will ultimately end up in winning basketball games.” 

And so they have. OSU is ranked 11th in the Associated Press poll, its No. 4 NCAA seed is its highest since 2005 and Cowboy basketball is buzzing like the Eddie Sutton days.
