OSU Softball: Cowgirls Get Walk-Off Series Win against Baylor
Hasler walks it off against the Bears.
The Cowgirls and Bears went to extras on Sunday afternoon, but NC State transfer Amanda Hasler gave the Cowgirls a series win.
Oklahoma State beat Baylor 2-1 on the back of Hasler’s walk-off home run to center field in the bottom of the ninth inning. It was the Cowgirls’ first run since the third.

Hasler joined the Cowgirls after spending two years with the Wolfpack. The walk off was her sixth home run of the season and second in the past two days.
OSU got on the board in the third inning. Rosie Davis had a leadoff double to right field and advanced to third on a sacrifice bunt from Megan “Cheese” Delgadillo. Davis scored on an error from the Baylor shortstop.
The Bears tied the game in the fifth. Karynton Dawson started the inning with a double that ended Katie Kutz’s day after the sophomore got the start in the circle. That brought on OSU ace Ruby Meylan, who gave up a single to Brooklyn Carter that scored Dawson.
The Kutz-Meylan partnership combined to give up only four hits in the nine innings, allowing the one run while walking four and striking out eight.
The Bears threatened again in the eight, getting two on with one out before Megan Bloodworth and Davis turned a double play to end the frame.
OSU is 19-7 this season after the series win against the Bears. The Cowgirls have a busy week in Georgia upcoming, as they’ll play Georgia at 7 p.m. Wednesday before a two-game series against Georgia Tech on Thursday and Friday. OSU will also hang around in Atlanta and play Penn State on Saturday.
