• PFB is adding another podcast for the fall with an old friend of the site + special offer on PFB+ in time for football season (PFB)

• CBS Sports has the Pokes at No. 64 in their preseason rankings, right above West Virginia and right below Rutgers (CBS Sports)

• The PFB podcast from late last week with Carson and Bill Haisten was terrific – great insight from Haisten on the QB race and Mike Gundy in particular (PFB)

• These two quotes on how OSU is recruiting in-state successfully now are pretty eye-opening (in a good way) concerning Mike Gundy’s new staff:

“I was recruited by Oklahoma State during the season, my junior season, but they weren’t giving me a lot of attention,” (Landen) Anderson told GoPokes. “Like they weren’t great at recruiting, but this new coaching staff, I really like them a lot.” “I’m happy that they’ve been able to do it because it’s been an unsolved mystery over the years,” said Oklahoma State defensive lineman Iman Oates, who hails from Tulsa. “Why can’t OSU get in-state guys? • UTEP-transfer defensive end Kyran Duhon talking about getting to be at OSU makes the mess that is NIL/transfer rule changes look a little better: 

“It is unbelievable,” Duhon said of OSU. “I never imagined myself really being somewhere this big because I knew I was overlooked out of high school because I was 6-1, 230, 240. So I never expected to get to a place like this.”
