• Eric Morris named his running backs coach and another defensive assistant yesterday (PFB)

• An ESPN analyst gave OSU an “A” for hiring Eric Morris – citing his similarity to Mike Gundy and references to Patrick Mahomes, Cam Ward, and Drew Mestemaker. 

OSU was at its best under Mike Gundy when it was lighting up the scoreboard with an innovative offense. Morris teams do that… Morris might have the best quarterback-development track record in the sport at the moment, and in both of his head coaching stops he led historically unsuccessful programs to new heights. •  It’s hard to know what reality/truth is in this NIL market, but goodness $4M-$5M feels like a strong number. Mason Rudolph is just under $4M as an NFL backup (

The top of the QB market is asking for $4-$5M this year, according to @PeteNakos. This group is not worthy of a jump from the $2-$3s from last year, but apparently, there’s a market.
