Wide receiver Terrence Lewis got on the field as a freshman for Eric Morris this past season at North Texas, and now Lewis will follow his coach up to Stillwater.

Lewis announced his commitment to Oklahoma State on Sunday night. He’s listed at 5-foot-11, 165 pounds and caught 11 passes this season for 184 yards (26.7 yards per catch) and two touchdowns in 2025. According to PFF, 90 of those yards came after the catch.

247Sports lists Lewis as the No. 502 player in the portal and a top 100 receiver.

Out of Bryan High School (Texas), Lewis garnered offers from Houston, Kansas State, Texas Tech, Minnesota and others before joining Morris in Denton. He had 54 catches for 1,273 yards and 13 touchdowns as a high school senior.

Lewis becomes the third UNT transfer receiver to announce a commitment to the Cowboys on Sunday, joining Wyatt Young and Miles Coleman. The OSU receiver room needs the reinforcements, as well. Gavin Freeman is the only receiver left on the roster who caught a pass for the Cowboys last season.

The night has been flooded with UNT players announcing they’re following their coach, as OSU is up to 10 commitments from former North Texas players. The offense that led the country in total offense and scoring offense is essentially migrating up I-35, with OSU adding the QB, the RB, three receivers and three offensive linemen over the past two days.
