3-Star Cornerback LaDarrius Bishop Names OSU in Top 5
OSU, Memphis, Arkansas, Mississippi State and Iowa State are the final five schools for 2018 cornerback target LaDarrius Bishop.
The three-star prospect from Ashdown, Arkansas, held 10 offers in total and cut Illinois, Baylor, Purdue, Louisiana-Monroe and Arkansas State out of his consideration.
OSU most recently targeted Bishop’s five-star teammate Montaric Brown, a Class of 2017 safety who signed with Arkansas despite other offers including OSU and Alabama. I think this recruitment will head the same direction.
Pulling recruits out of Hog Country is a tough task as OSU has learned—even the pull of Nick Saban wasn’t enough for Brown last cycle.
I expect OSU to be in the mix to the end with Bishop but barring a major falling out with the Arkansas staff, I think the chances are high he’s Arkansas-bound.
