Will they or won’t they play in Kansas City today?
According to reports, the Big 12 Tournament is expected to continue on Thursday in Kansas City. Oklahoma State and Kansas are expected to open the day with a quarterfinal game at 1:30 p.m.
Sources: Thursday's Big 12 Tournament games in Kansas City are still on as scheduled with limited fans in attendance.
Each program has 125 tickets for its particular game.

However, that could change. With the string of events we saw on Wednesday evening, anything and everything continues to be on the table. The NBA has suspended its season because of Coronavirus. March Madness will be played without fans (if it is played at all). Everything is in flux in a way that’s quite rare in today’s (sports) world.
I would not be at all surprised if the Big 12 canceled today’s games and the rest of the tournament. I wouldn’t really be surprised at anything at this point.
I asked Joe Castiglione, “what are the chances there is no basketball today?”
He answered, “I think that chance exists.”@Sportstalk1400

If you’re wondering why the cancellation of these events is necessary, this article was helpful for me. It seems to be less about the protection of individual people and more about the greater good of society. Flattening the curve, as they say. The cancellation of a few weeks’ of sporting events seems to be a worthy price to pay.
Regardless, the entire few days have been surreal. A NCAA Tournament with no fans (!) would be surreal. Or even no NCAA Tournament at all!
It will be interesting to see how this affects Oklahoma State on a more granular level. Will media be allowed into football practices this spring? Will fans be allowed to attend a spring game? Will the opening of O’Brate Stadium next Friday go off without a hitch?
Unprecedented times in the modern sports era, for sure. We’ll continue to update you guys throughout the day as we hear and see information and news. But for now, Pokes-Jayhawks at 1:30 p.m. with 250 people in the stands and just as many assistant coaches on the bench.
