Class of 2020 QB Deuce Hogan Makes Unofficial Visit to Oklahoma State
Class of 2020 recruit Deuce Hogan, one of four quarterback prospects who have garnered offers from Oklahoma State in the cycle, made an unofficial visit to Stillwater on Wednesday.
“Incredible time in Stillwater today,” Hogan tweeted. “Thanks to all the coaches and staff that made it great! #GoPokes”
Hogan is a 6-foot-4, 190-pound pro-style prospect from Faith Christian High School in Grapevine, Texas. He has other offers from Baylor, Iowa, Iowa State, La. Tech, Colorado, Houston, Syracuse, Boston College and Tulsa.
Hogan’s visit is a timely one, as another QB target for OSU in 2020, Hudson Card, announced this past week that he is spurning Oklahoma State (and more than a dozen other schools) and choosing to play for the University of Texas. It is believed that his visit is a simple “making of the rounds” unofficial visit that comes as part of the recruitment process.
OSU also has offers out to 6-foot-6 pro-style QB TJ Finley (who, as BBJD notes below, committed to LSU this week), Jack Miller, and the aforementioned Card, who took himself off the board — likely for good — this week.
Hogan amassed 2,716 yards passing and 29 passing touchdowns as a sophomore last season.
