Daily Bullets (Dec. 23): OSU’s Big Holes Remaining, What Portal Players are Replacing
Thanks for stopping by – here’s your daily dose of Oklahoma State sports news.
Three Thoughts
• OSU landed a couple of transfers in the portal who signed this week (Arizona State lineman and UTEP safety) – I think this was OSU hedging if Preston Wilson doesn’t return at right guard and replacing Trey Rucker at safety (PFB)
• The quarterback matchup won’t be Brandon Weeden against Ryan Tannehill but two solid quarterbacks will play in Houston next week (PFB)
• Seems like defensive line and wide receiver are a couple of the big holes left to fill via the transfer portal… or at least add a couple of impact players. (PFB)
Two Quotes
• This take on the significance of bowls is pretty good:
These bowl games are more like a spring game before the spring game. I actually do think that one way to gauge this game and who might be the favorite is who has the team that has the most players that have something to prove?

One Question
• I’ve used this one already – but if you could add one player to the OSU roster that produces at their position like Nick Martin does at linebacker, what position would it be?
Non-OSU Bullets
• A more thoughtful way to engage tech
• Talking through hypothetical Thunder trades
My goodness the Thunder are on a pace:
