• The Cowboys’ last win over Texas A&M is one that Mike Gundy considers most satisfying.

In 2011, in one of the five most interesting games of OSU’s Gundy era, the Cowboys rallied from a 20-3 halftime deficit and prevailed 30-29 at Kyle Field.

Those Aggies were ranked ninth nationally. Those Cowboys were ranked eighth. What a game.

These are the kind of games that feel a bit like a thing of the past, no? 2009-2013 feel like they were Mike Gundy’s prime, a coming of age where there was growth and OSU was a program folks learned they had to reckon with.

• OSU will be missing two safeties for part of (and all of) today’s game – here’s a detail on the injury to Kolby Harvell-Peel I hadn’t heard.
