Top Ten Talent
SI thinks there’s a top ten talent in Stillwater in 2017.
Why is Washington still in college? Oklahoma State fans certainly won’t complain and neither should other college football fans whose teams don’t have to face the 6’1”, 205-pound sensation.
Washington has 2,467 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns in the past two seasons, and now gets to team up with quarterback Mason Rudolph for another prolific season. [Sports Illustrated]
Rudolph-to-Washington is truly unique in that they’ll get a third round as an uber-productive duo.

Sought After Relief
Details are surfacing on the seat shuffling in Boone Pickens Stadium.
OSU will open the 2017 football season at home against Tulsa with 3,428 fewer total seats — its capacity shrinking form 60,218 to 56,790 — as part of an effort to improve the game day experience in Stillwater.
Fans previously averaged about 14 inches of space to sit on the north and south bleachers, the source of a longtime overcrowding complaint among OSU faithful that finally prompted change. This fall, fans in 25 sections of the stadium will now have a roomy 20 inches to take in Cowboy football… [NewsOK]
What a tough decision – appease the faithful or capture extra money for a few games that demand it. A near fifty percent increase in space will be fantastic though.

Washington is hanging around to get a masters in the deep ball.
