The Cowboys are set to play the other OSU on Sunday night with a Sweet 16 berth on the line. With that, and plenty more to catch up on with Oklahoma State sports, let’s get into it.
March Madness
• Five things to consider before OSU takes on OSU on Sunday night. [PFB]
• OSU must do whatever it takes to keep Mike Boynton, says Guerin Emig. [Tulsa World]
• Boynton’s Cowboys will see a familiar face on the other sidelines in Mo Calloo. [PFB]
• OSU Twitter went ??? on Friday night during and after the win. [PFB]
• OSU Wrestling ended the 2021 season with a third-place team finish at the NCAA Finals, and a National Champion. [PFB]
• And speaking of social media, AJ stole the show again on Saturday after his national title win.
• The Cowgirls’ March Madness journey starts on Sunday and if you weren’t ready already amped for it, this should get you going.
OSU squares off against Wake Forest on Sunday at 12 p.m. in San Antonio, Texas. The game will be streamed on WatchESPN.com.
Other OSU Sports
• With everything else that’s going on in OSU sports, it’s actually possible to overlook the fact that spring camp kicks off on Sunday.
• Chris Carson is staying in Seattle.
• Cowboy baseball fell to 1-1 in its opening Big 12 series against Texas Tech, falling 4-2 on Saturday afternoon. The Cowboys can break the tie on Sunday starting at 2 p.m. in Lubbock.
• The Cowgirls finished out their series with Kansas City with a dominant 13-0 win. They went yard five (!) times including back-to-back-TO-BACK homeruns in the third kicked off by Taylor Tuck’s grand slam.
Non-OSU Bullets
• The scariest thought that creeps into my head about Cade & Co.’s Tourney run just got a little bit realer.
• Also significant.
