OSU Bullets
• Recaps from the first two days of spring football practice (photos from day one and key narratives on day two) (PFB)
• The Pokes smoked Wichita State, 10-1, in a mid-week game last night while the Cowgirls avenged the men’s basketball team by beating North Texas, 2-0 (OKState.com)
• The “five thoughts” article after the North Texas loss was terrific – this one really surprised me:
Of the 11 scholarship players on OSU’s roster, nine can return next season. The only two who have exhausted their eligibility are Bernard Kouma and Caleb Asberry. So, despite being listed as seniors, Boone, Avery Anderson, John-Michael Wright and Chris Harris could all come back.
[PFB]
• Looking at how Mike Gundy landed on Bryan Nardo as the new defensive coordinator (TulsaWorld)
• Props to Rickie Fowler for taking down the world’s No. 2 player in WGC-Dell Match Play yesterday:
• I love this about college sports – not a bad loss for the Cowgirls to lose to the team that took down a one-seed:
Non-OSU Bullets
• The tyranny of the urgent
• Being a better loser
Appreciated these marriage thoughts – defined “contempt” here
