OSU Bullets

• Berry Tramel pointed out a few things about future Big 12 football schedules and how it could affect the Pokes:

  • Iowa State is the most natural partner for the Cowboys to pair with as a protected rival
  • If four-team groupings were made, Houston kills things for OSU to be paired with Baylor, Tech, and TCU
  • Lastly, OSU has been the winningest team remaining in the league in a couple of different ways:

Here are the cumulative standings of the last three years for the eight legacy Big 12 members: OSU 18-9, TCU 17-10, KSU 15-12, Iowa State 14-13, Baylor 13-14, West Virginia 11-15, Tech 11-16, Kansas 4-22.

Go back to 2012, the arrival of TCU and West Virginia, and the standings look like this: OSU 62-37, KSU 57-42, TCU 56-43, Baylor 55-44, West Virginia 47-51.

• Excellent summary of this weekend in OSU sports (Twitter)

• Cowgirl Equestrian locked up it’s third-straight Big 12 title this weekend (OKState.com)

• Time to get it done as Bedlam coaches:

(Mike) Boynton and (Porter) Moser and any other Bedlam coach gets a pass for not beating Kansas. You do not get a pass for not beating Kansas State. I’m not calling for coaching changes in Stillwater or Norman. I’m calling on Moser and Boynton to get the job done, because it can get done. Jerome Tang just proved it.

• Super excited to have Gretchen joining the OSU community – what a great story:

Non-OSU Bullets

• Hated to see K-State lose on Saturday, was big time pulling for Makquis Nowell and Co.
• Ten resources to teach your kiddos about Easter (faith-based)

“If you want to be rich, then be kind.

It’s hard to create wealth unless you work well with others, and it’s hard to work well with others if you are unlikable.

Even if you can build wealth without kindness, rich jerks end up poor in friendship. You can buy friends, but not good ones.”
