• This is a super helpful bit on when OSU will/won’t make the Big 12 title game:

Another OSU loss wouldn’t keep the Cowboys out if K-State, Iowa State, OSU or OU are the final two-loss teams, having what would be a 2-1 record against the other three schools.

A tiebreaker scenario that includes both Texas and OU would leave the Cowboys out since they would have lost to both teams. [TulsaWorld]

• Looking at power rankings around the league – OSU finds themselves in a few spots:

– Tramel has the Pokes at No. 1, Guerin Emig has the Pokes at No. 2, HCS has the Pokes at No. 3

• I’m here for a unique Big 12 title game, preferably one featuring the Pokes.

I mean, yes, Texas and/or Oklahoma could still claw back into the top two, but that wouldn’t be novel or interesting. Give me some combination of Iowa State/Kansas State/Oklahoma State instead, with the winning coach being immediately considered for whichever doomed SEC job opens up. [Banner Society]

Texas is the burr under my saddle right now and I would love the Pokes to avenge that loss if they got there.

• Stadium‘s Brett McMurphy has the Pokes in the Cotton against A&M (no thanks)

• First team All-American seems impressive.
