โ€ข OSU opens as an 11.5 point underdog against Texas + previewing the game (HCS)

โ€ข The Cowboys bumped up a couple of spots in both the Coaches and AP polls (PFB)

โ€ข Bill Haisten provides the questions to ponder this week when building expectations for Saturday’s game in Arlington:ย

What would be more on-brand for the 2023 Cowboys?

To play shockingly well and bump Texas from the College Football Playoff picture?

Or for OSU to get rocked by the Longhorns?

โ€ข This tweet shows the best summary of why OSU could beat Texas, kicking some dirt on the argument that the Horns are unbeatable (X)

โ€ข OSU’s football games this fall have been pure theater, stranger than fiction at times.ย

Same with me. I donโ€™t believe what I saw at Boone Pickens Stadium. The Cowboys werenโ€™t only merely dead, they really were most sincerely dead. Down 24-6 at halftime, OSU appeared lifeless against a team that was 2-6 in Big 12 play. Unprepared, unmotivated, uneverything.

You know the rest. Crazy OSU comeback, a last-play tying field goal by BYU, two overtimes, the Cowboysโ€™ 40-34 victory ended by Trey Ruckerโ€™s strip fumble.
