OSU Bullets

• Is Spencer Sanders’ perfectionism helpful or hurtful?

• Cade Cunningham will start his Cowboy career back in DFW – Marshall had some #sources in this piece talking about the schedule

• Mike Gundy’s history of dealing with quarterbacks with ball security issues is a pretty wild one.

Ball-security problems compelled Pat Jones to make a quarterback change in 1986 (when a freshman, Gundy, supplanted veteran Ronnie Williams in the starting lineup. In 2013, Gundy benched J.W. Walsh and rolled for the rest of the season with Clint Chelf.

Apparently, the Gundy of 2020 is more patient than the Gundy of 2013 or the Gundy of 2007, when he replaced Bobby Reid with Zac Robinson.

You could pretty safely say that if the guy behind the culprit appears to have more upside, he makes the move.

As silly as that seems to say after Gundy benched Bobby Reid… but Zac Robinson turned out to be pretty talented in his own right:

• Pokes added a kicker/punter as a preferred-walk on yesterday for the next class

• Pokes made the top five of a Brooklyn point guard (that they haven’t officially offered yet)

• OSU offered another 2022 QB – this one is a top-15 player at the position

• Happy late birthday to Dez!

Non-OSU Bullets

• Pretty interesting – what happens if we have a tie in the electoral college (269-269)
• Joined this virtual book club to (hear thoughtful people) talk about Marilynne Robinson’s newest book Jack
• This post wrecked me this AM – the son of a pastor/blogger I follow abruptly passed, faith-based thoughts on how he’s responding – feel free to join me in praying for him if that’s your thing
