Evan Daniels Projects Cade Cunningham to Kentucky
Another twist in the Cade Cunningham saga.

The roller coaster of Cade Cunningham’s recruitment has taken another loop.
At the end of May, Evan Daniels put in a crystal ball prediction for Cade Cunningham to land in Stillwater. A few weeks ago Daniels, 247Sports’ Director of Recruiting, withdrew that prediction, and now he has made a new one. Daniels’ new crystal ball prediction puts Cunningham in Kentucky.
Cunningham visited Lexington this weekend as Kentucky hosted its Big Blue Madness. Cunningham was on hand for John Calipari’s state of the program in front of a packed Rupp Arena, where Coach Cal essentially gave a 15-minute recruiting pitch in front of the raucous house. And afterward, the Kentucky faithful tried to not let the No. 2 overall prospect in the 2020 class leave.
Rupp Arena has nearly cleared out, but Cade Cunningham has hung around to take pictures with fans for 15 minutes. Kentucky staff eventually had to usher him to the back.

Evans’ crystal ball prediction is a big deal because Evans is 42-for-42 when predicting 2020 prospects and 222-for-235 overall.
At about the same time Evans’ prediction was made, though, Cunningham put this on his Instagram:
Cunningham has been on official visits to OSU, North Carolina, Florida and Kentucky. He is scheduled to take his final visit to Washington next weekend.
For what it’s worth 247’s Director of Basketball Scouting Jerry Meyer still has his prediction as Oklahoma State. Meyer submitted his prediction May 29. He is 51-for-56 on 2020 prospects and 952-for-1266 all time.
A lot has changed since Meyer’s prediction, but he was asked last week on Twitter if he felt 100 percent on the prediction. Meyer responded “Have never felt 100 percent about it but would put in in the 90s.”
