Five-star Power Forward Isaiah Todd Makes Unofficial Visit to OSU

Five-star power forward prospect Isaiah Todd, the No. 3 overall recruit in the 2020 classification, made an unofficial visit to Oklahoma State on Wednesday.

Todd is the No. 1-ranked power forward prospect and, at 6-10, 195-pounds, widely regarded as the most highly sought after big man in the country. His AAU team, Team Loaded, posted the following pictures from his trip to campus earlier today alongside head man Mike Boynton.

Boynton hasn’t shied away from chasing blue-chip talent on the recruiting trail, and Todd is the latest example of that. A game-changing prospect who has a legitimate future in the NBA, Todd would be a massive get for any program, including (obviously) Oklahoma State.

Todd is from Raleigh, North Carolina, and has already drummed up interest in the area from North Carolina, though it doesn’t appear the Tar Heels have yet offered. Unsurprisingly though, Kansas, Virginia, UCLA and more than a dozen other programs have jumped aboard by offering him an opportunity, so OSU is competing with a lengthy list of formidable suitors.

But merely the fact that he made the trip cross-country to see the campus on an unofficial basis (meaning he paid his own expenses) is a good sign for OSU that 1. The staff is making a strong push for him and 2. He seems receptive to the recruitment, and the interest is reciprocated.

The Cowboys hosted another blue-chip talent in the 2020 class earlier this week, too. As we reported yesterday, 7-foot big man Davion Bradford visited the OSU campus on Monday on an unofficial basis, too, so it appears the staff has things rockin’ on the recruiting trail with a number of big-name talents expressing strong interest of late.
