Series History (OSU leads 42-26)

These teams first met in 1908, a 40-10 K-State win in Manhattan. That started a four-game winning streak in the series for K-State until OSU got on the board with a 25-18 win in 1927.

OSU’s longest winning streak in the series was 11 games, spanning from 1947 to 1962. K-State had a nine-game streak from 1990 to 2002.

More recent history has favored the Cowboys. OSU has won five of the past seven meetings, and Mike Gundy is 9-5 against the Wildcats whereas Chris Klieman is 0-3 vs. OSU.

Oklahoma State beat K-State 31-20 in Stillwater last season in the conference opener. The Cowboys were able to overcome a 99-yard Malik Knowles kickoff return touchdown. OSU scored all 31 of its points in the first half, including when Malcolm Rodriguez recovered a loose ball in the end zone. Spencer Sanders threw for 344 yards and two touchdowns.
