Hoops Recruiting: Mike Miles Sets Commitment Date
Miles is picking a school Dec. 22.
Another Texas Titan who visited Oklahoma State has set a commitment date.
Mike Miles will choose a school on Dec. 22, he announced Tuesday via Twitter. A three-star point guard out of Lancaster, Texas, Miles played on the AAU circuit with OSU signees Cade Cunningham, Rondel Walker and Montreal Pena.
Miles took an official visit to Stillwater in early September, doing so with Cunningham, Walker and uncommitted OSU target JT Thor.
It looks as if OSU, TCU and LSU are in the running for Miles services, but he hasn’t put out an official list of schools he cut it down to.
OSU offered Miles back in February of 2017. Miles was a YouTube prodigy. In 2012, Ball Is Life uploaded some fourth-grade highlights of Miles:
Does this kid running alongside him look familiar?
Miles is ranked 142nd in the 2020 class, which many think is criminally underrated. Some call him the best point guard in Texas high school basketball this year, despite three point guards being ranked ahead of him. He is the eighth-ranked player from Texas in the class overall.
If Miles were to commit to Oklahoma State, he would bump up Mike Boynton’s 2020 class up to the sixth-best class in the country.
