Mike Boynton Stays Hot on Recruiting Trail, Lands Top-150 Guard Isaac Likekele
A day after padding its 2018 recruiting class with a commitment from three-star forward Maurice Calloo, Oklahoma State has once again struck big on the recruiting trail by reeling in top-150 Mansfield Timberview guard prospect Isaac Likekele.
Likekele is a Class of 2018 point guard who chose the Cowboys on Friday over Texas Tech and UTEP. He visited the OSU campus last week on an official basis.

Likekele is a crucial late grab for Oklahoma State who fills a hole for a team that was in need of point guard depth. With Kendall Smith and Brandon Averette, OSU’s top two ball-handlers from last season, moving on, he should be able to fill a role right away as a contributor alongside grad transfer Mike Cunningham and Miami (Oh.) transfer Michael Weathers.
At 6-foot-4, Likekele also brings good size to the position and, at the very least, should be a rangy defender with high-level scoring capabilities. He is the fifth member of OSU’s 2018 recruiting class along with Kentrevious Jones, Yor Anei, Duncan Demuth and Maurice Calloo.
