The Cowboys swooped in and flipped a defensive lineman from another Big 12 school on Signing Day.

Oklahoma State announced Wednesday that it has signed Savion Barthelemy, a 6-foot-3, 286-pound defensive lineman from Louisiana.

Barthelemy signed with Washington State in December before the Cougars lost coach Jimmy Rogers to Iowa State. Barthelemy then pledged to Rogers and the Cyclones at the end of December before the Cowboys won the race on Signing Day.

Barthelemy is a three-star prospect who ranks as the No. 2,042 player in the 2026 recruiting class, per Rivals’ Industry Ranking. That has him as the No. 180 defensive lineman in the cycle and the No. 53 player in the state of Louisiana.

Along with offers to Washington State and Iowa State, Barthelemy also had offers to North Texas, Texas State, Troy, Louisiana and others.

The Cowboys are putting some of their finishing touches on their 2026 roster on Signing Day. As of writing, Barthelemy joins junior college safety Bobby Deal Jr., defensive end Joey Quinn and wide receiver Dayvon Standard as signees who the program announced Wednesday.
