Oklahoma State Offers 2020 QB Jack Miller
Oklahoma State has fired off its first QB offer in the Class of 2020, and it’s a doozy.
The recipient, four-star Arizona native Jack Miller, announced the offer on Tuesday. It’s his 13th overall scholarship offer to date and all the big boys have already jumped in the mix.
Miller is a Scottsdale native and pro-style gun-slinger who is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 1 pro-style QB in the 2020 class, and the No. 47 overall player in his classification.
Thomas Lewis, his head coach and a former NFL receiver, gushed about Miller’s arm strength and ability as a QB after his freshman season.
“From day one, the first time I’d ever seen him throw, that was the best deep ball I’d ever seen in my life,” said Lewis. “It’s also about the intangibles. The first time I’ve seen this, there was a wheel route. He was on the opposite hash. The kid ran a wheel route. Boom. He got up the field. He threw the ball from the opposite hash to the wheel route with pace and complete accuracy. People can’t make that throw. He can make all the throws that 80 percent of quarterbacks can’t make.” [AZ Central]
Miller already has offers from Ohio State, Florida State, Ole Miss, Arizona and others.
