Mike Boynton has offered another member of the Team Griffin AAU squad that won the 16U Peach Jam last summer.

KJ Adams, a 6-foot-7, 200-pound power forward, announced an Oklahoma State offer Tuesday. Adams plays his high school ball at Westlake in Austin and has offers from Baylor, LSU, Texas, Texas A&M, TCU, Ole Miss and Texas Tech.

A four-star recruit, Adams is the No. 63 player in the 2021 class and the No. 5 player from Texas.

Despite being 6-7, Adams has solid ball-handling abilities to go along with his size. He’s a do-it-all player on the offensive end with the ability to shoot the 3, score from the post and beat defenders off the drive.

That Team Griffin group has quite a bit of talent. Here are the players from that squad who also have OSU offers.

Daimion Collins – C – No. 23 (national ranking)
Jaxson Robinson – SG – No. 35 (Texas A&M commit)
Trey Alexander – SG – No. 42
KJ Adams – PF – No. 63
Bijan Cortes – PG – No. 127 (OU commit)

OSU’s 2021 class doesn’t look to be as large as the six-man 2020 group Boynton is bringing in. It will likely be a class with two to four players in it depending on if someone transfers out and if Isaac Likekele is able to make the professional jump after his junior campaign.

That said, a theoretical class of three of the guys above — Collins, Alexander and Adams — would be the highest-rated 2020 class in the Big 12 and would likely land somewhere around there in 2021 as well.

At the Peach Jam event that Team Griffin squad won, the Texas Titans won the 17U age group. Boynton was able to snag Cade Cunningham, Rondel Walker and Montreal Pena from that squad for his 2020 class.
