Trigg has some nasty film.

Michael Trigg has north of 40 offers, and Oklahoma State added itself to that list Tuesday.

Trigg, a four-star tight end out of Florida, announced his OSU offer via Twitter. The Cowboys join the likes of Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, LSU, Miami, Michigan, USC, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon and many more after Trigg.

At 6-foot-4, 208 pounds, Trigg is also a three-star basketball prospect.

The 247Sport composite ranking lists Trigg as the No. 156 player in the 2021 class and the sixth-best tight end in the cycle.

With Seffner Christian Academy this past season, Trigg caught 82 passes for 1,232 yards and 16 touchdowns. He is a matchup nightmare with his high school team often lining him up as a wide receiver and just letting jump over poor corners.

Barton Simmons, a director of scouting at 247Sports, projects Trigg as a future second or third round NFL Draft pick.

Tight end projection that is more of a big wide receiver in terms of body type and usage in high school. Underdeveloped frame that has a capacity for transformation. Extremely productive pass catcher against shoddy competition. Natural hands catcher. Good body control and ball skills. Easy athlete that can be dangerous after the catch and has played quarterback in a run-heavy role. Isn’t asked to play in-line but has shown some willingness to block in H-back roles and is active on defense. High end basketball player. Evaluation changes if he’s a wide receiver because separation speed isn’t obvious. Very much a hybrid type that may not fit every offense. We view as a future tight end with significant upside in the right system and with development will be a Power Five impact starter and a mid round NFL Draft pick. [247Sports]

Trigg is the 10th tight end OSU has offered in this cycle. Given Trigg is from Florida and has a ton of blue-blood offers, it would be a difficult get for Mike Gundy and Co but an exciting one without a doubt.

Here’s 10 minutes of him dominating the state of Florida.
