Oklahoma State Offers New York City Senior Malachi Smith for 2021 Class
Boynton offers a kid from NYC.

Mike Boynton sent out another offer to his home state Thursday.
Malachi Smith, a combo guard out of St. Raymond for Boys in the Bronx, announced an Oklahoma State offer as he gears up for his senior season.

Who Is He?
A 6-foot combo guard, Smith is the brother of former Dayton star Scoochie Smith.
Scoochie averaged 13.8 points, 3.1 rebounds and 4.5 assists a game in his last season as a Flyer.
Malachi seems at his most comfortable when attacking the basket, but if a defender sags off him, he can knock down the 3. He has one of the coolest highlight reels I’ve ever seen jumping from him playing Catholic school ball to the outdoor games in New York City.
Smith joins Khalil Brantley as two guards Boynton has offered from New York City in the 2021 cycle.
Others Involved
Smith has a wide range of offers from the likes of Georgetown, Washington State, Rutgers, Seton Hall and others. Notably, Dayton, where his brother went to school, has also extended an offer.
In the Rankings
Rivals and 247Sports each list Smith as a three-star prospect.
As of writing, he is the No. 199 player in the 2021 class in the composite rankings. He is also a top-five player in New York.
