Oklahoma State Signs Two on National Signing Day to Complete 2018 Class

An expected uneventful national signing day turned out to be exactly that.

On Wednesday, Oklahoma State signed defensive linemen Amadou Fofana and Samuela Tuihalamaka, putting a bow on its 25-man 2018 recruiting class.

Fofana and Tuihalamaka both committed to Oklahoma State in January and arrive as mostly unheralded prospects. Both are three-star recruits who had very little high-level interest before picking the Pokes.

Fofana, a 6-foot-4, 280-pound junior college defensive end/tackle prospect, chose the Cowboys over offers from Louisiana-Lafayette, Buffalo and New Mexico. Tuihalamaka, a 6-2, 290-pound defensive tackle, picked OSU over Louisiana-Lafayette and hails from high school powerhouse Mater Dei in California.

OSU’s 2018 recruiting class entered Saturday ranked 30th nationally but finished 33rd, good for fifth in the Big 12 — right around where OSU typically finishes in the standings since 2010.
