In the aftermath of surprising news out of Stillwater this week that former four-star tight end Grayson Boomer is exploring a transfer, Oklahoma State has already begun its process to backfill his future production with current recruits.

The Cowboys this week made a slew of new offers to prospects in the wake of Boomer’s transfer exploration, with all three new targets in the 2021 class — and all three from the state of Colorado.

Here’s a recap.

This one could get confusing for Thunder fans if Ferguson were to commit, but on the bright side, can there really be too many T. Fergs in Oklahoma? The world is a better place with tall, skinny athletes like Terrance Ferguson. This one (not the Thunder one) is listed at 6-5, 220, and the highest-rated of the new offers. He’s a top-300 talent from Littleton, Colorado, with offers from Oregon, Arizona State, Florida, Colorado, Arkansas and others.

Just a bit lower-rated than Terrance Ferguson, but the offer sheet suggests schools may like Hart better overall. He’s got nearly two dozen offers in total, the likes of which have come from Iowa, Colorado, Arkansas, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Texas, USC and others. He’s also listed at 6-foot-5 but has five pounds on fellow Coloradoan, T. Ferg.

Littleton, Colorado? Heritage High? Teammates with T. Ferg? Yes, yes and yes. Interesting move for Oklahoma State to offer both tight end prospects from the same school. Ferguson’s more highly regarded but Olsen looks the part — even if no other schools have pulled the trigger with an offer yet besides OSU. He’s been recruited by Georgia, Colorado, Northwestern, Ohio State, Duke and others. A breakout is imminent and OSU is in early.
