OSU Offers 2018 SMU Running Back Commit Jahmyl Jeter
Oklahoma State has extended a scholarship offer to 2018 running back prospect Jahmyl Jeter, he announced on Wednesday evening.
The 6-foot, 200-pound speedster from San Antonio committed to the SMU Mustangs in May, but has seen his recruitment skyrocket of late with offers from New Mexico, Texas A&M and now the Cowboys.
Jeter is a talented prospect on the rise with good agility who has performed well on the camp circuit gaining exposure of late. During the Blue-Grey Football Combine in April, he ran a 4.61 40-yard dash with a 4.32 shuttle and a 9-foot-1 broad jump.
OSU recently missed on four-star standout Keaontay Ingram, its top target who pledged to Texas. The staff is still involved with Georgia standouts James Graham and Lyn-J Dixon, though I consider both to be longshots.
Jeter ran for 1,576 yards and 15 touchdowns on 194 carries as a junior, averaging 8.1 yards per carry.
