OSU Target Isaac Likekele Making Official Visit This Weekend
After missing out on four-star point guard prospect Courtney Ramey to Texas this past week, a new back burner target has been moved on to the front burner.
Isaac Likekele, the former Fresno State pledge who was recently offered by Oklahoma State, is now OSU’s target to fill the spot previously reserved for Ramey. He’ll take an official visit to Stillwater beginning this Thursday.
Likekele is a 6-foot-4, 195-pound point guard from Mansfield Timberview. He’s likely deciding between OSU and Texas Tech, the latter of which he visited on an official basis this past weekend.
“The visit was amazing, I really enjoyed it,” Likekele told 247 of his visit. “The coaches, the players, the facilities, the campus were all great.”
Likekele made a late visit to UTEP, too, before his trip to Lubbock. But all indications are that it’s a Big 12 battle brewing for him, with a decision expected to come soon after his time at Oklahoma State.
“They have a lot of opportunity, too, out there,” Likekele said recently of OSU. “Some of their guards that wasn’t expected to leave, they signed and they left. Their style of play is kind of free, create, play make, which I also like about Tech–it’s the same way.”
Likekele intends to make a quick decision after his final visit, and if OSU knocks his socks off this weekend, there could be good news coming. But as of now, Texas Tech is the crystal ball favorite as he prepares for his final official.
