OSU Wearing Black-Black-Orange Combo for Kansas State
It’s back and it’s beautiful.
Oklahoma State’s equipment staff dusted off an oldie, but a goodie, for Saturday night’s Big 12 home opener. The Cowboys will wear a black helmet with orange brand, black jersey and orange pants against Kansas State.

Got a big one on tap tonight between the Pokes and Cats. We’ll see you at Boone’s place ?

That last time OSU went BBO was all the way back in 2013, also against Kansas and also in the conference home opener. The Cowboys beat the Wildcats 33-29. That result, and the fact that it might be my new favorite home look, begs the question. Why the six-year hiatus? The important thing is that it’s back and it’s beautiful.
If you’re keeping score at home, Kyle Porter successfully predicted the BBO color scheme in this week’s Uniform Prediction, but had OSU wearing the Barbed Wire lids.
