Report: Kyle Junior, Lamarcus Morton Off OSU Football Team
Kyle Junior and Lamarcus Morton are no longer a part of the Oklahoma State football team, according to The Oklahoman‘s Scott Wright.
The two were absent on the roster the team released Monday in anticipation for the Cowboys game against McNeese on Saturday, and The Oklahoman confirmed neither player is with the team anymore.
Junior was a graduate transfer defensive tackle from Bowling Green. He was expected to add experience to an inexperienced defensive front. Junior played in 35 games at Bowling Green, including 15 starts. He had 95 career tackles with 13 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks.
A redshirt sophomore cornerback, Morton did not play in any games in his first two years on campus. Morton was a former three-star prospect out of Gilmer High School (Texas). He chose OSU over offers from Texas Tech, Indiana, Houston and others.
It’s unknown at this time why the pair is no longer with the team or whether their departures are related.
