Running Back Jahmyl Jeter Explains OSU Commitment
Oklahoma State picked up its first running back commitment for the class of 2018 earlier this week in Jahmyl Jeter. The three-star recruit from San Antonio, Texas was originally committed to SMU, but decided to flip this week.
Jeter spoke with Sports Night about what lead to his decision to pick Oklahoma State.
“When I just went to Oklahoma State, the facilities and the coaching staff, and Mike Gundy and everybody at Oklahoma in Stillwater was very, very nice. They said I could be a big part of their running back crew and have a good season there, a good four years there.”

Jeter also raved about Mike Gundy in an interview with Scout on Thursday.
“Coach Gundy is a great man and I love how he coaches and how he talks to his players,” Jeter said. “He doesn’t cuss at them or anything. He just motivates them. He is a great coach and dances with the players when they win. I saw him dance on SportsCenter. I like his personality and I love him a lot.”
Jeter is a solid get for the Cowboys and fills a need for the 2018 class. He’s a speedy back that ran a 4.61 40-yard dash at the Blue-Grey All-American Bowl in Houston back in April. As a junior, Jeter ran for 1,576 yards and eight touchdowns on 8.1 yards per carry.
