Sponsor Pistols Firing

You can sponsor Pistols Firing.
Ever since I took my job at CBS Sports I’ve been looking for alternative outlets for making some extra cash. PFB is the one I keep coming back to and I feel like we’re at a point with our traffic where a legitimate relationship with a sponsor (or sponsors) makes sense.
I toyed around with this before but it never totally made sense because the audience just wasn’t there.
Now it is.
Traffic has tripled from this time last year (it doubled from 2011 to 2012) and I’m expecting over 150,000 unique visitors for football season, or about 50,000 unique visitors monthly on the site.
We’re not ESPN or anything like that but I’m also not charging ESPN-like prices for sponsorship.
Friend of the site, Sam Snelling (@snellingmobile) is doing some redesign tweaks for me and I think the end result is going to be super user-friendly as well as sponsor-focused.
There will be essentially four options for sponsorship starting August 1 (availability in parentheses):
Full site (1/1) — Your ad (company name) at the top of the site (example) — $500/month or $5,000 for the year
Full width (1/1) — Your ad (company name) splayed across the entire page (example) — $300/month or $3,000 for the year
Below post (1/1) — Your ad (company name) below each post (about 3 daily) (example) — $200/month or $2,000 for the year
Half width (2/3) — Your ad (company name) splayed across half the page (example) — $100/month or $1,000 for the year
The full width and half width will be updated constantly throughout the month so they’re always visible to readers (think: Deadspin).
Please let me know if you (or someone you know) are interested. You can email me here.
If you decide to sign up, this will likely be my reaction:
If you don’t, it will be more like this:
Thanks as always for your continued support,
