Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sign Former OSU Receiver Jhajuan Seales

Jhajuan Seales has found his new home.
The former OSU receiver was waived by the Bears as a roster move for Chicago to bring in veteran wide-out Victor Cruz in late-May. Now, however, Seales has landed on the positive side of such a move, as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed him and Marqueston Huff after waiving undrafted rookies Alex Gray and Thomas Sperbeck, the team announced on Sunday.
Seales went undrafted earlier this spring after a successful four-year stint at OSU in which he racked up 1,785 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns on 112 receptions. Despite never taking over as a top option as a receiver during his Cowboy career, his measurables — a 6-1 frame and a 4.51 40-yard dash at his pro day this spring — have teams more than willing to take a chance on the gifted Port Arthur, Texas native who ended his college career on a high note.
In Tampa Bay, Seales will join up with former OSU offensive coordinator Todd Monken, who coordinated at OSU in 2012 while Seales redshirted.
