The Reload: OSU Paying Visit to 4-Star, New Offers to 2021 Standouts
Mike Boynton is always trying to stay ahead of the recruiting game.
Oklahoma State hoops had a big recruiting weekend with two new offers out to 2021 Arkansas standouts, and the staff’s big weekend should flow into Monday. According to Jake Weingarten, OSU is expected to pay a visit to top shelf point guard Caleb Love out of Saint Louis, Missouri.
Love is a four-star talent according to 247Sports ranked as the No. 35 overall player in 2020. He has already picked up an offer from OSU as well as Texas, both of whom are expected to drop in. A total of 21 programs have extended opportunities his way.
Texas and Oklahoma State will be in tonight for 2020 five-star Caleb Love, source has told Stockrisers.
The Longhorns have been heavily pursuing Love for quite some time.

Love is but one of a handful of targets at the position for OSU in 2020 along with Rondel Walker, RJ Hampton, LJ Cryer, Mike Miles, and others. He remains one of the top targets on the board, however, and OSU has been working hard to keep his attention despite plenty of interest being shown to him elsewhere across the country.
The two new offers this weekend are both 2021 Arkansas standouts, Jalen Ricks and Terran Williams, and both announced almost at the exact same time on Sunday. Ricks, who is from Sylvan Hills High in Sherwood, Arkansas, is a 6-4, 170-pound shooting guard. He also has an offer from TCU.

Williams also has one other offer in his pocket, also from TCU. He’s also a 6-4, 170 pound shooting guard. (I promise they aren’t the same person.) He attends Lee High School in Marianna, Arkansas.

The 2021 class should be an interesting one because it, like 2020, includes at least one highly-touted in-state prospect. In 2021, Trey Alexander, a shooting guard from Heritage Hall, is one to watch. He already has an offer and plays the same position of the two new targets to emerge on OSU’s board this past weekend.
