One of the preeminent college football all-star games has its eyes on three Cowboys.

The Reese’s Senior Bowl announced its watchlist on Wednesday, and it included Brennan Presley, Alan Bowman and Dalton Cooper. Just because a player isn’t listed doesn’t mean he won’t get an invite to Mobile. Players can still work their way into the picture throughout the season.

Fifty-four Cowboys have participated in the Senior Bowl with the most recent being Jason Taylor II and Tyler Lacy this past season. Should Bowman play in the game, he’d be the first OSU quarterback to participate since Mason Rudolph in 2018. Brennan Presley would be the first Cowboy receiver since Tylan Wallace in 2021. And Cooper would be the first OSU O-lineman since Jeremey Offutt in 1999.

A transfer who spent time at Texas Tech and Michigan, Bowman has thrown for 5,329 yards and 34 touchdowns in his five seasons of college football to this point with the majority of those stats coming at Texas Tech. After battling through myriad injuries during his time in Lubbock, Bowman transferred to Michigan ahead of the 2021 season. He played sparingly with the Wolverines but did gain experience being on two College Football Playoff teams.

Presley is somehow already entering his senior season after catching 124 passes for 1,557 yards and 10 touchdowns in his first three seasons in Stillwater. An underappreciated recruit in the 2020 class, Presley had one Power Five offer coming out of high school — Oklahoma State. Despite that, he made an instant impact scoring four times as a true freshman and has been a staple of the Pokes’ offense ever since.

Cooper joins the Cowboys from Texas State. He started every game the past three years at left tackle for the Bobcats, earning freshman All-American honors in 2020.

The Reese’s Senior Bowl is Feb. 3 in Mobile, Alabama. You can view the full watchlist here.
