Midlothian (Texas) wide receiver Langston Anderson cut his list of top schools from 21 to 10 on Thursday and named Big 12 schools Oklahoma State, Texas, Baylor, Kansas State and Texas Tech among his finalists.

Anderson is a three-star prospect playing for Heritage High School who 247Sports evaluators have tabbed as the No. 95 overall receiver in the 2019 class and the No. 727 overall recruit nationally. Ironically, James Washington was also the No. 95 overall receiver prospect when he signed with OSU in 2014.

OSU extended an offer Anderson’s way just shy of one month ago, and his stock has steadily risen in the days since. After OSU offered, Texas followed suit three days later. And Arizona State, Illinois and others have done the same earlier this spring.

As a junior last season, Anderson racked up 850 yards receiving and nine TD’s, earning First-Team All-District honors.
