You Can Vote for Mason Rudolph to Win the Davey O’Brien Award
Mason Rudolph is one of three finalists for the Davey O’Brien Award, given to the best quarterback in college football. As a new element of the voting process this year, the fan vote will also be taken into account just like the Biletnikoff voting.
Rudolph, the leader in passing yards in FBS just ahead of Baker Mayfield is third in the country in passing touchdowns with 33. However he has more combined scores than both candidates.
Here’s a look at how the three compare statistically this season.
| QB | School | Pass Yards | Total TDS |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mason Rudolph | Oklahoma State | 4115 | 41 |
| Baker Mayfield | Oklahoma State | 3816 | 39 |
| JT Barrett | Ohio State | 2698 | 40 |
You can vote for Rudolph by clicking here and going through the registration process to cast your vote. As of Wednesday morning, Baker Mayfield leads the way with 51 percent of votes ahead of Rudolph and Barrett combined.
