2018 DE Braden Cassity Commits to Oklahoma State
Just a day after naming Oklahoma State among his final four schools, 2018 DE/OLB Braden Cassity out of Austin Westlake has committed to the Cowboys and announced he’ll sign with the school on Wednesday.
The news comes right around the same time a scholarship was freed up in the wake of Millwood’s Israel Antwine deciding to flip his commitment from OSU to Colorado.
Extremely excited to say that I’ve received a full offer to Oklahoma State. I’m now committed and will be signing tomorrow. #GoPokes #PistolsFiring #CowboyUp18 #NSD18 pic.twitter.com/N99QKfPzSL

Cassity is a 6-foot-2, 240-pound prospect who picked Oklahoma State over finalists that included Tulsa, Wisconsin and Tulane.
He originally announced this week he would make an official visit to OSU in January with plans to sign to his future school in February, but it seems the opportunity presented itself and he hopped on board before it wasn’t available.
While Cassity’s commitment doesn’t fill the void at DT left by Antwine’s flip to CU, it does give OSU a much-needed commitment at DE alongside Tyler Lacy and Michael Scott in the class, which likely signals the completion of recruiting at the DE position for 2018, especially with Arizona Western’s Azur Kamara now off the board and announcing earlier today he will play at Kansas.
