Oklahoma State Offers 2019 Athlete Sione Vaki
Oklahoma State welcomed 2019 receiver/safety Sione Vaki on Saturday for an unofficial visit among the many who were in town for junior day, and he walked away with an offer in hand.
The 6-foot, currently unranked athlete from Brentwood, California announced the offer late Saturday night — his second to go along with Tennessee — while thanking those who hosted him in Stillwater.
“Mama I Love U..I’m truly grateful & honored to have received my Second Offer from Oklahoma State University..There’s an LDS Church hymn that goes like this “Count your many blessings & name them one by one”
@beni_tonga thanks for everything today Toko I truly appreciate it..sorry I was feeling under the weather today Toks but I will be back@danhammer11 Thanks for the Love today coach and for believing in me..wasn’t feeling well today but I will be back to see y’all soon#CowboyUp
Vaki’s a talented two-way player but given that he was hosted by safeties coach Dan Hammerschmidt and not receivers coach Kasey Dunn, it’s a giveaway that OSU has offered him as a safety on the defensive side of the ball.
For the 2019 class, Vaki joins Booker T. Washington star Dax Hill as OSU’s biggest target moving forward. Rockwall’s Anfernee Orji and Richmond’s Jamal Morris are also names to watch as OSU fills out the back end of the defense for 2019.
